The Desperation of the Food Industry

The gubment just shut down some laws that would aid in protecting slaughter animals.  Slaughter animals, in case you aren't aware, are the animals that wind up in the food Americans make, like bacon, lunchmeats, rib roasts, etc.  Anyone who eats meat should be terribly alarmed by this development, and should not listen to the government's lies about how everything is still safe to eat.

While the unfortunate animals would still have to endure cruelties few could imagine, and would still have to die for citizens' meals, the laws would help these innocent animals suffer a bit less before being killed.  Since I know very few people give a rat's ass about what their food endures before making it to the table, let's take this a step further.

These same laws that were shot down by the Fed Gubment were also there to protect animal consumers everywhere (ie: you).  These same laws were going to help uphold food safety at the slaughterhouse which would mean fewer contaminants in what omnivores serve their trusting, unsuspecting children.  Also, animals too sick to walk to the killboxes would not be allowed to be slaughtered for food.  Now that these laws have been thrown out, who knows what people actually be eating and feeding to their kids?

Someone have to let me know whether or not cancerous tumors and other diseases make  meats and BBQs taste better.

Some meat eaters say all the harmful things get cooked out.  If that were true, the makers of processed meats wouldn't have to spray virus killing bacteria on everything to protect those who eat it.  Mmmm.  Do those viruses taste good?  Even if a person can't taste them, the fact that they are on the food should be enough to make people stop eating it, but just as some people don't care about animal torture, others don't care about chemicals they can't see or taste.

See, the government makes money when consumers buy meat. So, if Americans want to be anti-government, they should try living anti-meat.  If Americans think their fearless leaders have had too much fun on their watch, with their money, then they have to stop helping their leaders line their pockets in a way that they can---by voting with their wallets.  Sure, leaders have other ways to make money and screw citizens over, but many of those ways are beyond our control.  We are in full control of what we buy at the grocery store and in restaurants.

It's actually really sad how desperate meat and dairy producers are becoming.  The Got Milk? web site is reeking of desperation.  They have bottles of stuff and they want us to pick the 'real milk'.  Nevermind humans are the only species on the planet that drinks the milk of some other creature, which isn't natural in itself, the dairy industry is trying to discredit dairy alternatives by saying they are unnatural.

Oh, and then we have this really stupid commercial saying real milk needs no shaking.

As a longtime user of alternative milks, I can say they do NOT need that much shaking.  I give them a couple of shakes before opening, if I remember to do it at all, and call it done.  In the time it takes me to close the door to the fridge and walk to the counter where the glass is sitting, those two shakes are done, so it's not like I'm spending 8 minutes of my life mixing up almond and rice pulps.  How much shaking do you give your high pulp orange juice?  Just a little, right?  Alternative milks are no different.

I just saw on TV an ad for Lactaid, 'made from real milk'.  For those with lactose intolerance, Lactaid, the original lactose free alternative.  Hahaha..  They just had to make sure to mention it was 'real milk' unlike soy, coconut, hemp, rice, etc.  Yeah.  Let's not let anyone with lactose intolerance (80% of the world's population has some form of lactose intolerance) learn about vegan alternatives.  Let's keep them consuming a milk product that's been doctored to have the lactose removed... Geeezzzzzz...  They really want us to be stupid and compliant.

Getting back to the point a little bit, I have to ask---do you still think our government is here to take care of us?  There are lots of unfortunate souls who firmly believe this rot.  Our government is here, not as the public servants they used to be decades ago, but to make us work for THEM to make THEIR lives better.

So, if you want to stick it to them, use this new food ruling as a reason, and  explore vegetarianism or veganism.  You will feel better, you will be healthier, if you are on products like Lipitor, you will decrease your dependence on them or be able to give them up entirely, and the best part?  You will not have a hand in the suffering of animals.
