Yes. I'm finally level 40 in Skyrim! Let the party commence!
And I found this video online, and while it shows all the coolness of the game, all I can think while watching is, "Hey! There is a nirnroot that needs collecting!"
Seriously. Around .40, there is a nice, fresh, super green nirnroot. In my game, there is no way that would be there. It would be in my satchel waiting to be turned into a potion at my in-home alchemy table. Sorry, but even in battle, there is time to pick the local flora and fauna.
You'll notice in the video the dragonborn shouts, "Fus ro DAHHH!" That's an awesome shout that you get to use in battle. You can fus ro dah just about anything.
So effective, even a penguin can use it:
Benny Hinn uses it on his congregation to get them to give him more money:
They didn't use it in Lord of the Rings, but they COULD have.
Yoda did it his own way in Star Wars.
There are other shouts in the game, and they're all pretty cool in their own way. One of my favorites is whirlwind sprint. This enables me to get the heck out of Dodge super fast should I do something like upset a giant and his mammoths! They are faster than they look, and I had to take out a giant recently as part of a quest. I didn't want to, as you know, but I had to.
Boy was that a night of excitement! I had to kill off an Elder Dragon, which is much tougher than a regular dragon. This dragon was near a giant's camp. This giant had a bounty on his head, and he was particularly aggressive for some reason, I'm not sure why. Normally, they are docile. Anyway, he was walking around with a friend, so I had to kill the friend, too. So to recap---killed off a difficult dragon, then had to take out not one, but two giants in order to collect a bounty and save my life and the life of my follower.
And when it was all over, just a few yards away, I found some hunters sitting around in the hot springs just lounging, watching all the fireworks! I couldn't believe it. Where the heck was their help when I was taking out that dragon? hahaha They were just luxuriating in the hot springs, and I'd approach them to talk and they'd say, "Yes? What do you need, friend?" Whatever... LOL
I got a staff of Sanguine, which is awesome. It summons a daedra warrior to help fight in battles, so I used it on a dungeon full of forsworn and another dungeon infested with falmer. Much easier to fight such beasts as a trio than a duo. Falmer are so tough they can actually kill my follower, who is outfitted in ebony gear that I've upgraded.
Overall, totally digging this game.
Edgar got Assassin's Creed for Christmas, and I'd like to play that one, too, but can't tear myself away from Skyrim just yet.
You're playing, too, right?
